Venezuela has been struck by two devastating earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 on the Richter scale, occurring just 39 seconds apart. The powerful twin earthquakes caused widespread destruction across northern Venezuela, with severe damage reported in Caracas and surrounding regions. Buildings have collapsed, critical infrastructure has been damaged, and search and rescue teams continue to work tirelessly to find survivors trapped beneath the rubble.

Authorities have confirmed more than 160 lives lost and nearly 1,000 people injured, while many others remain missing. Rescue operations are ongoing, and the full scale of the disaster is still unfolding. A nationwide state of emergency has been declared as thousands of families face unimaginable hardship.
