Masjid Muhammad Classroom Appeal

At Masjid Muhammad, our community continues to grow — and so does the need for dedicated spaces where our children and youth can learn, develop, and stay connected to their faith.

To meet this need, we have begun building classroom containers at the rear of the masjid. These classrooms will serve as a vital hub for Islamic education, Qur’an learning, youth activities, and community programmes — creating an environment where the next generation can grow with strong values, knowledge, and confidence.

This is more than just a construction project. It is an investment into the future of our community.

The Need

For a long time, space within the masjid has been limited. Classes have been restricted, and opportunities for learning have been affected due to a lack of dedicated facilities.

These new classrooms will:

• Provide structured spaces for Qur’an and Islamic studies

• Support youth engagement and development

• Allow the masjid to expand its educational programmes

• Create a safe, focused environment for learning

Project Cost & Progress

The total cost for this project is £43,000.

Alhamdulillah:

• £23,000 has already been raised through your generous support

• The remaining £20,000 was covered through a Qard Hasanah (interest-free loan) from a supporter, allowing us to begin work without delay

Because of this, the classrooms are now underway — but the responsibility remains on us to repay this amount.

Clearing this debt is essential so that the masjid can move forward without financial burden and continue serving the community effectively.
