More than 3,500 families have fled Gaza and are now seeking refuge in Cairo. Forced to leave behind their homes, belongings, livelihoods, and communities, many arrived with very little and are now trying to rebuild their lives in extremely difficult circumstances.

Displacement does not end when families cross a border. In Cairo, thousands are living in temporary accommodation, overcrowded apartments, or relying on the generosity of others. With limited income and rising living costs, securing consistent access to food has become one of their greatest daily challenges.

The Gaza Refugees Programme has been established to provide urgent and ongoing food assistance to these displaced families - ensuring they have access to essential supplies during this critical period.

Ramadan Deployment

This Ramadan, our team will be flying out to Cairo to oversee and support the deployment of this programme on the ground. We are committed to ensuring aid reaches the families who need it most, with careful coordination and direct distribution support.
